Selling my Late fathers totally restored 1971 Karmann Ghia. Finished the restoration back in 1999, the car has not seen the road to much because of fathers medical condition. I would say less than 500 miles since completed because of the titties are just slightly worn on the front tires DOT #s are 419- meaning 41 week of 1999. Paint is Base coat Clear coat and no scratches or dents, Pan was sandblasted and painted with urethain Black in color. All ball-joints, Tierods, Wheel-bearings, CV's, Swaybars and bushings, trans-mounts, wiring harness. voltage regulator, calipers and rotors were replaced wih new. The engine is a 1776 with new Scat case and new Scat 69mm counterweighted crankshaft with Mahle pistons. The camshaft is a Gene Berg , mild lift and duration, rocker-arm assemblies are also Gene Berg ratio rockers. The Eliminator heads have 42mm intake amd 37.5mm exhaust valves with Dual 44 weber carbs suppling the fuel. The ignition is jacobs electronics. Valve covers are Empi and has fancy push rod tubes that do leak slightly. Also has high flow oil pump with external oil filter with stainless braided lines. The wheels are Empi's and the tires are bridgestone 185/65-15. The interior has been replaced with black factory carpet and new vinyl seat covers front and rear, new das pad and dash cover and new door panels. I welcome any Third party inspections.
