Here's a project I've really wanted to build but just don't have time for. It's a 76 D100 stepside that came from the factory with a slant 6 and 3 on the tree. It still wears its original paint, but is missing the engine and has been swapped to an 4 speed overdrive on the floor. Truck has some rust but the frame is solid and structurally, the bed is very nice. Previous owner replaced bed floor with treated lumber. There is some rust through as pictured in the tailgate bottom, corner of the right bed rail, and misc spots on the bedsides. Rear fenders are pretty nice - Right has a dent, other is solid and I don't see and rust through. Cab corners and body mounts are nice. Doors look good and close like new. Floors were patched with flat sheet but not finished 100%. Underhood looks solid, and hood is unmolested. Truck has a 3.55 axle, previous owner said it was a sure-grip but I haven't verified that. Manual steering, manual disc brakes. Tires are fair rollers and the other 2 spoked wheels are in the bed along with a good radiator and stock read bumper. Brakes feel good and there are newer hoses and lines. Emergency brake seems to work but is stiff. I have a good title for it. Would make a great builder or parts truck.
