(That's 4,000 miles per year in 23 years). I have clear title issued on 09/21/89 with 4450 miles on it! I also have receipts for the work done including the major $2,000 tune-up performed less than 2,000 miles ago in addition to all the parts that were put on the car during the restoration/modification! People asked me why I chose the 2.6L automatic as a base for this car and not the 2.3L 16V model - the answer is simple - I wanted a reliable, easy to maintain, easy to drive, great handling car with plenty of torque, good power and awesome looks! Although the 2.3L 16V has a racing history behind it and is a great car for the track, it sucks for everyday driving with no torque, expensive to maintain cosworth engine. That's why I chose this all original, One owner, low mileage 2.6L 6 cylinder car as a base for this project.
