1950 Chevy pickup 1/2 ton short box. I bought this truck in south west Wisconsin. The truck had been sitting for about ten years. I brought the truck home, lubbed the cylinders, gave it a tune up, rebuilt the carb, adjusted the valves, put a new exhaust on it and a new water pump. I put a battery in it and ithe Truck fired right up. We took it up to 50 mph and shifted all three gears and Steered good. The brakes do not work and should have the master cylinder rebuilt. It has original paint and a really neat patina. Definitely gets looks and comments! It has some minor dings and very minor rust as pics and video show. The floor pans look solid. All is original and unmolested. The bed needs new wood but currently has a good plywood floor. Windows go up and down like they should as video shows. The glass has no cracks anywhere. The dash guages are all there. The truck is running off a auxillary gas tank but the original gas tank is there. The headlights are working. It has a blinker option. I am selling This truck as winter is approaching and I do not have the indoor storage space to store it. I am selling it along with three others in my collection. In my opinion, with the brakes fixed, this would be ready to use as a daily driver! You can put a coat of clearcoat on it and keep the patina or take it to the next level and restore it. I require a 500 dollar non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. If I do not get the deposit within the required time frame or before you come for the truck, I will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it.
