If it were not for the rears door latches being inoperable and broken she'd probably still be driving it. No it isn't the child safety switches in the wrong position either. One broke and I looked into fixing it but because time was limited I didn't and I simply put a couple screws and washers in it to keep it closed and then the other door broke about 2 months later. She duct taped it shut, so there is tape residue on that side of the car. I've since screwed it shut too, so I could drive it back to PA from Ohio. Again reason she still isn't driving this is because of the doors AND because I got a new truck and instead of trading in my car I swapped her even up. To my knowledge the car had recently had new rear brake pads and cylinders installed, an exhaust repair of some sort, a front tie rod end on passenger side, also about 6 months ago a new belt and alternator. She tells me it runs great but uses a quart of oil a month. The miles on the car are mostly highway as I live south of Pittsburgh in PA. and she lives in OH. so we take turns visiting each other on weekends. I did drive it back here from Ohio with no problem. Inside of the car is dirty, too me it also seems to be a little hard to go into gear, but goes into every gear, all the time, and there seems to be no slippage in my transit drive back but you gotta push a little, 2 fingers and a flip just don't get it. One other item to me it did sounds like it has a bad CV joint, as going around some turns it makes a bit of noise on occasion. This car has all the rattles, scratches, and dings of a high mileage older car. Inside has a tear in 1 seat and is very dirty. Only rust I can tell you about is on one of the rear door rockers. Before I screwed it shut I recall a spot about 12' long and a hole in it maybe 4" long x 2"wide. Headliner is completely gone, horn does not work and drivers side turn bulb is out and lying inside the lens loose so it doesn't work. She said A/C worked great and it has a CD/Stereo in dash, I removed the face plate so no one would rip it out of the dash while car sits to be sold. But it is in glove box. All 4 tires are in very good condition with half or better tread on them As I said to start this car was not driven by me but by my girlfriend so there could be more wrong than I know of, although after cross examining her several times, these are her answers cross referenced by my findings. I do know it would be a great parts car but as I said it does run and drive, turn the key and it fired right up, so someone might use it as a cheap beater. Girl friend did live with me up until a couple years ago so it was PA registered and inspected until she moved back home, due to a child support issues about 2 years ago.
