Vehicle Detail

Chances to own a car like this do not come up very often! I have too many cars and have unfortunately decided to let some go, this is a very rare opportunity to own a true numbers matching "rare" optioned GTO JUDGE She was sold new in Vancouver, BC Canada and is a verified "WT1" certified judge. This car was ordered in Jan 1969 and one of the very early judges, it wasnt delivered until March for some reason, but being one of the early cars had the red-blue-yellow stripe originally. After feb 15 '69, all carousel red judges were only produced with the blk/yellow/red stripes. I have not got hard numbers on that production yet but it is supposed to be under 200 judges that were made with these stripes. Here is some info on the rare stripes http://www.popularhotrodding.com/features/0908phr_1969_pontiac_gto/photo_07.html This also has some other rare options as documented on "GM Vintage Services" paperwork WT1 - THE JUDGE PACKAGE M 20 WIDE RATIO 4 SPD 3.55 REAR POSI POWER DISC BRAKES AM RADIO WITH CONSOLE MOUNTED 8 TRACK STEREO RAM AIR III 366 HP L74 RALLY II WHEELS HOOD MOUNTED TACH Y96 HANDLING PACKAGE TILT WHEEL GAUGE PACKAGE CLOCK HURST SHIFTER DRIVERS REMOTE MIRROR So this car was restored back in 1992 and entered into some shows, rarely driven and then put into storage in a warehouse for the next 20 yrs. It was started frequently to keep seals from drying out but hasn't been driven since then (until lately) fast forward to today.... She was pulled out of storage a few weeks ago, and basically blew the dust off , wiped down and is as it was 20 yrs ago 70000 original miles INTERIOR - the interior is in amazing original condition showing very light wear, even the carpet (which was probably replaced in 92) looks like new. The seats are showing very minor wear and still in great condition, there is 1 small crack on the dash on the drivers side. the gauges , speedo and clock look and work perfectly. the am radio still works and it sounds as the 8 track does as well ( don't have an 8 track to test) but it does make a noise whe turned on. Headliner , rear deck shelf etc all very nice, front and rear door panels in excellent shape , shifter and console again look excellent Mechanical The engine was rebuilt to factory specs in 1992 it is the original numbers matching block, heads, exhaust manifolds and intake manifold only thing not original is the carb (later 71 455 carb), I have have included a picture of the block vin and the vehicle vin. The m20 is also the original and rebuilt to factory specs in 92 (I dont have a pic of the trans vin but i will put it on a lift to get a picture). A lot of ads everywhere claiming "numbers matching judge" but very few actually are, most are just code correct motors. This is an extremely rare oppurtunity to own a real numbers matching judge this car runs and drives like it has just been restored , lots of power , handles very tight and smooth and sounds awesome! ELECTRICAL- Everything in this car works and I mean everything , all lights, factory radio, Hood Tach , Gauges, Everything !! SUSPENSION She has all the original GM suspension. Because the resto was done in 92, all nos parts were used, the susp is extremely tight and handles very well UNDERCARRIAGE she has 20 years of dust underneath but is extremely clean with no serious rust or rotting , mainly some discolration and is basically just in need of a detail WHEELS factory rally II s in excellent condition BODY well here is why you are going to get an excellent deal ! while it was in storage , the door was swiped by something creating a fairly big dent in the drivers door, it has not hurt the doors integrity and is an easy fix. The door still opens and closes perfectly as a low mileage car should The rear passenger quarter was scraped by something on the top corner, no serious damage, just more of a paint issue. Last but not least the passenger quarter has bondo in it, the car was restored in 92 and factory quarters were not available, so as they did back then - bondo was used. They did an excellent job and it looks great, but it is there Apart from those issues, the body on the car is fantastic, all steel, gaps are great (hood could use minor adjustment) and everything opens and closes at it should TRIM all the stainless trim on the car is in fantastic shape PAINT the paint is amazing for a 20 yr old job, it is as good as my judge that had a big dollar resto in 09 (ofcourse except for the damage) I'm sure I have missed alot of info so please feel free to ask anything , also feel free to ask for whatever pictures you need and I will be more than happy to take them for you All in All this a great running and driving correct and numbers matching Judge, EXTREMELY RARE EARLY PRODUCTION JUDGE WITH BLUE/YELLOW/RED STRIPES , very light resto can make it a show winner and is a true blue chip investment , I am offering this car with no reserve but feel free to make any offers you would like, worst I can say is no some more pictures of the paperwork and the car This car is both PHS Documented and Gm Vintage Services Canada Documented , it doesnt get much better than that http://s894.photobucket.com/albums/ac149/liftking/1969%20GTO%20JUDGE%204%20SPD%20NUMBERS%20MATCHING/
