This is a late model Triumph Stag, Carmine Red with Tan interior. Equipped with some of the most desirable options, 4 Speed Overdrive, works perfect, Hard Top, Air Cond. Last summer clutch replaced with new slave cylinder. With the engine removed the timing chains, sprockets and tensioners replaced, external gaskets replaced where accessible, new engine mounts. NEW water pump and oil pump installed. Oil pressure gauge installed. Less than 500 miles since completed. New Fuel Pump installed this spring. Convertible top frame rebuilt with new hardware (Rimmer Bros.) NEW Robbins Tan top currently being installed with all new weather seals. NEW Stainless steel tail pipe included, to be installed Previous owner completed the following; replaced steering rack, master cylinder, slave cylinder, re-cored rad, new hoses, belts, installed electronic ignition, flushed gas tank, rebuilt carbs, new tires on restored original aluminum wheels, wheel alignment. Car drives solid, smooth and straight. Other Issues! The Clock and Radio are not working Air Cond. has not been re-charged since engine re-installed. Paint has nice gloss but there are numerous small scratches and general wear. Very solid rust free car. The left front rear quarter panel has dent. The odometer stopped working just after engine work completed, probably actual is about 300 mi higher. Odometer works fine. I bought a replacement, included but not installed. Previous owner replaced steering rack but appears to be leaking again. On Oct-14-12 at 18:48:51 PDT, seller added the following information: A few other details I forgot to put in original listing....... you may see the rear bumper rubber overriders are missing, I have the NEW replacements. The trunk lid right hand spring is broken,............. I have a replacement included. If the car is sold this auction I may not be able to completed the new convertable top installation, The overhauled frame in installed and works great, all latches adjusted for the tonneau and rear bar. The top would just need to be installed. All NEW parts would be included. I have some other parts that can be included if the buyer wants them that I received fron the previous owner .........., a new exhaust pipe, used AC compressor, misc lights small parts. I also have a printed copy of the Service Manual and Parts Manual that can also include. Hope this additional info helps.
