Absolutely pristine, low-mileage BMW R1200 Adventure. This bike has less than 2000 miles. Move out of state prompts sale--it's just too expensive to ship from Arizona to Hawaii. Bike was purchased new in August 2011 from Iron Horse BMW in Tucson--one of the best BMW dealers in the country. Iron Horse also handled all maintenance on the bike, which consisted of the initial pre-delivery service plus the first full scheduled service (done only because of the time interval, not the number of miles ridden). In addition, there is a cosmetic flaw on the gas tank, and it is scheduled to be replaced under warranty (regardless of the owner). The motorcycle also includes the remaining 22 months of its fully transferable 3-year warranty. Aside from that, the bike was never dropped or tipped over, and has virtually no scratches or nicks anywhere. Never ridden off-road. The GS shows virtually no wear, and still rides on its original Metzeler Tourance tires. Most reviewers agree that BMW's Adventure is the premier member of the Adventure-Touring class, and it includes ABS, Electronic Suspension Adjustment, accessory driving lights, adjustable-height saddle with removable passenger section, 33-liter gas tank, saddlebag mounts, tubeless tires, three accessory outlets and heated grips. In addition to all the standard and optional equipment, the bike also has the OEM accessory aluminum saddlebags and BMW tankbag. These will be sold separately, with the buyer of the bike having first right of refusal. Otherwise they will go up on eBay in separate auctions. The tankbag has seen very little use, the saddlebags none at all--they were stored immediately after the bike arrived home.
