Vehicle Detail

1970 Ford Mustang Fastback rolling, steering chasis with a v8 block mounted in engine compartment. This has sat in a barn since 1980, owned by the same owner since 1977 until he decided to use it as a trade-in on our lot. What you see is what we got! You would have thought he was losing his best friend when he handed us the title. We have a clear 1977 Indiana Title for this car. The Vin on the dash matches the vin on the title. There is another vin on the drivers door that came off of another car(See pic) with the door. We have the keys for the steering wheel and the doors. The doors open and shut easily/ windows roll up and down fine, and the door keys work fine in the locks. All glass is GOOD. The steering colum key works well, and turns fine. The middle hump in the car is sitting on the frame unattached. Critters have stashed walnuts here and there. Transmission is NOT present. Do not assume anything is present on the car! This is a ROLLING chasis. The two fenders are held on by two bolts each, and are easily removed. We found a mustang vin decoder online, and here is what it says: 0=1970, F= dearborn, 02 = fastback, M = optional 300hp 351 engine. IMHO, I believe it was a 4 speed due to the big hole on the hump. Don't ask us for any more info, we don't know anything else. We usually sell cars in the 90's & up, but you never know what comes in as a trade-in at a car lot! This car is beyond my expertise, but the sheet metal actually looks pretty darn straight, dent wise, except for the hood. The hood has dents on the front edges, and one of the fenders has rust through by the front headlight area. This car looks fast just sitting there, even in this condition. Cool classic, hope it gets a good home. FOR LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. If you need pics of certain parts of the car, send us a message. Rolls good!
