2001 740IL BMW RECENTLY TOOK THIS CAR AS A TRADE IN--HAVE NO INTEREST IN THIS CAR I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THIS CAR but what I do know is-- there is a broke spring on passenger side front between 60-to 70 miles a hour there is a vibration --past 70miles a hour--the vibration stops The engine runs stong but sometimes it has a ticking noise--it is not a knock-- could be as simple as a oil change car has rust on corner edges of doors previous owner had 2 new front tires--new water pump--new alternator--put on car No - service or check engine lights on all windows,heated seats and lights works good--everything works except navigation screen does not come on--we have the navigation cds and booklet for the car previous owner purchased this car 8 months ago from a cadillac dealer for $15,100.00+ taxes --with 87,000 miles on it----he put the additional miles on it.--it is now 132,508 with a little work I think it would be a good car- because it handles and drives nice I listed everything I know about the car--but feel free to ask additional questions --car is sold cash at pick up only--no checks bmw flashlight in glovebox--phone in console--spare tire is new--rim never mounted on car--factory tools still in case in trunk
