Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1976 Jeep CJ 5. This is a project car. It needs restoration. The body has rust and some body damage. The frame is in good condition. The motor is a straight six cylinder. It has a three speed manual transmission. The transfer case and transmission have less than 500 miles use. Oil pump was replaced. Motor head was rebuilt. Berings replaced. The motor is in good condition; does not smoke or miss. The starter has some problems; will not turn over on every key turn. The Jeep has not been run since 1995 but last month I put in a new set of points and she started right up. The roof needs to be replaced, the driver's side door needs to be replaced (frame and skin), the passenger's side door is in good shape. The seats are high back bucket seats that are in good condition. The locking center console is in good condition. The padded roll bar covers are in good condition. There are two saddlebags that fit on the roll bar, they are in excellent condition. A bikini top is included (great condition). There are two new stainless steel windshield hinges that come with the Jeep. Tires are in fair condition with decent tread but some cracking due to age. Tailgate is the original steel gate. The Jeep is being sold "as-is" with no warranty. It's an oldie but a goodie. A deposit of $250 is required within 48 hours after end of auction. Balance due within one week of end of auction. I will accept a verifiable cashiers check or cash (checked with a marker) when Jeep is picked up. No personal checks! The Jeep will not leave the driveway until payment has cleared. Buyer is responsible for pickup. The Jeep must be picked up within 1 week after end of auction. The deposit is non-refundable. Please......do not bid unless you are a serious bidder. If you have any questions, please ask and I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks, and happy bidding
