Beautiful 1965 Galaxie 500 XL 428 automatic trans. Less than 7000 miles on rebuilt engine and complete professional paint job. Always Garaged and never in the rain. New upholstery,new carpet,new headliner. a few defects in the upholstery but still very nice. This car has been a beloved member of our family for over 15 years and has numerous awards and trophies from local car shows. Always a head turner! She was originally a 352 cubic inch motor. I removed the 352 and replaced it with a 428 in 2004. It is a standard bore 428 with TRW forged pistons, Comp cams camshaft,Adjustable rocker arms, comp cams pushrods, Edelbrock Performer 4 barrel intake,Holley Street Avenger Carbeuretor,Pertronix Igniter Electronic Ignition,Hooker Super Competition Headers dump into 2 1/2 inch exhaust and Terminator Welded mufflers.(She sounds SOO GOOD!!)Weld 17 X 8 wheels on rear 16 X 8 s on the front. lots of upgrades that are too numerous to mention. Coil-over shocks on all 4 corners,new complete brakes.Meticulously maintained and loved!! Unfortunately our economy has taken its toll on us and has required me to let go of some toys.
