Up for auction is a 1979 Lincoln Mark V Town Car in average condition with 82,740 actual miles. The car runs and drives excellent. I am selling this on behalf of my father-in-law who is the second owner. I have done my best to provide as accurate information as possible.He purchased the car in 1981 with ~24,000 miles on the odometer. The car has been well maintained mechanically and all service receipts are available. The oil was changed ~ every 2000 miles. The engine runs great and has no leaks or issues and starts on the first turn. All power options work with the exception of the cruise control and the front driver's side front tilt option which does not tilt as far forward as it once did. The exterior has lost its luster and there are multiple rust spots over the body including the wheel wells with more extensive rust behind the front passenger side wheel well and under the hood (see photos). Some minor body work is required with more extensive damage to the passenger door (See photo 9). The vinyl roof is original and there are no tears but this too needs restoration of luster. The white leather seats need some color restoration but there are no tears. The interior roof liner has no tears. The wood panel on the glove compartment is delaminated. There is also some delamination on the steering wheel. The battery and all four tires are ~ two years old. The car has never been smoked in.
