1978 Chevrolet Corvette 25th anniversary edition Awesome car for the price. Good condition. T-tops Paint and body are very nice. 67,400 miles. Runs great. Newer tires Good brakes, shocks and fuel lines No issues and it runs, drives and shifts great. Hasnt been driven in the rain or winter is over 15 years. Here is all that’s been done in last 6 months: NEW fuel pump NEW shocks NEW rear brakes and rotors (told that front brakes were ok) NEW battery NEW blower motor for heater/defroster NEW carpet and new floor mats NEW rear compartment (3 door behind seats) NEW sun visors NEW seat backs and latch hardware cleaned and repainted interior trim parts replaced windshield wipers Total cost of all the new stuff is $1600 The car originated from an older couple (maybe early 60's). they owned the vehicle for 10 years and just drove it for fun around town. They purchased from the original owner in NY. They had it repainted and new exhaust installed on the vehicle. I was told the paint job cost him $10K which is probably somewhat of an exaggeration but its one heck of a paint job, still today. He said they had to hand sand the entire body since it is fiberglass. The engine and transmission are original and the mileage is accurate. The original owner had the camshaft replaced and did any updates to the engine. I guess Chevrolet used a different camshaft in 1978 to cut down on the horsepower and meet fuel mileage requirements at the time. It was common to replace the camshaft to increase the horsepower and I know its faster that my show condition Vette that is also on ebay. I can ship worldwide.
