1929 Ford Model A 2 door sedan. Nice running and great looking Model A. It's got a solid body with all steel parts (no fiberglass), the doors are solid, body is solid & the fenders are solid. No patch panels either. The thing goes down the road great and steers line a dream (OK, better than most Model A's) because it's got a modified f-100 steering box installed with a shortened pitman arm (can't remember who did the modifications--somebody out in California--he did and outstanding job as it bolted right in and still has the working light switch, and it cost me a small fortune!). The color of the car is black (kinda flat black that adds to the 29 flavor) with a gray and black interior (vinyl seats). Goes down the road at 45 to 55 mph (probably goes faster, but that's where I feel comfortable with it!) and stops good with just rebuilt brakes and floating adjusters. Doesn't burn or leak any oil (OK, all Model A's leak a little oil) and does not overheat either. New dash, speedometer, gas gauge, lights, and I have a set of new chrome bumpers that I haven't installed yet but go with it, also I installed blinkers on it so crazy people could see me. Clear title. The 16" wheels and tires are acturally radial tires with white walls added, these tires make for a very smooth ride. Car is located just south of Kalamazoo MI, mid-way between Detroit & Chicago with easy access to I-94 or the Indiana toll road. Once paid for (IN FULL) I can store it for you (indoors) for a month or two. 10% of the sale price is due at auction end with the balance in cash upon pickup. No checks, no trades, just good old American cash! Perfer pick up but I will help load if you want it shipped (once I've got payment in full). The reserve is set lower than the buy it now price BECAUSE if you hit the "buy it now" button I'll include a high compression head (with installation kit, gaskets-head bolts, etc.), a single carb. down draft manifold with carb., a mallory ignition, and a header for the 4 cylinder engine.
