Up for auction is one bitchin rat rod.Lets start with the frame that is build from 2x3 square tubing front to rear.Has a 1940 ford front straight axle with new brake drums,shoes,and wheel cylinders.I built the car so it is right hand drive just to set it apart from others.Shifter is a old lever off of a peice of farm machinery.Rear end is a ford 9 inch with im guessing a 3:00 ratio.It flys down interstate.Rear suspension is a 4 link drag car style set up.Transmission is a th350 that was rebuilt when car was built 4 years ago.I planned on driving it and wanted it to be reliable.Engine is a 1958 chysler 315.Custom made intake with four holley 94s.It runs off all four carbs.No dummy stuff here.Makes about 13 mpg when i took it on a 200 mile trip.I have roughly 500 miles on it since built and needs a few things like a windshield,i was gonna get a peice of lexan cut i just never got around to it.But yes i have been driving it that way.The car has current licence and insurance.It would deffinatly drive smoother and straighter with newer radial tires and maybe sum friction shocks on front.Has 16 inch ford rims and vintage lester tire company white walls.I have a set of blasted and rusty plain 15s that will go with car but no tires.Was gonna mount sum for longer trips so it drives better.Radiator was a brand new aluminum street rod radiator painted brown to blend with the car.Has electric fan.All brake lines and hoses were done new also.Like i said i wanted it reliable.The only reason for listing it is i just am getting short on space and havent got the time to enjoy it anymore.But out of all the cars i have this one really does get the most attention.If you dont like people askin to take pictures and questions when your going to paint it i would probably buy a different car.Some peaple just dont get it.Im sure i have forgot about some stuff so if you have any questions just shoot.I can help in shipping depending on location for some fuel money.Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
