Up for grabs is a 1978 Ford LTD owned by the same owner since 1980 when he purchased it off lease. (We have the registrations to prove this). NEVER SMOKED IN. SMELLS like 1978! This car is very remarkable: Everything is just beautiful inside. This car has never been altered. This LTD came stock with cruise control, power trunk release, remote passenger rear view mirrors, front/rear speaker fader, am/fm stereo, V8 6.6L 400 CID V8, automatic transmission, and air conditioning. Additions include adjustable rear air shocks, towing hitch, airglide compas, hours/mileage trip tick on dash. The interior is simply breathtaking. Looks like a one year old car inside.Headliner is absolutely excellent. Seat stitching is still white! Everything is original, nothing has been replaced. EVERYTHING except clock and ac is in workiing condition. The a/c is holding a charge/pressure, but we decided not to add any freon. It looks to still be an r12 setup. Brakes are excellent. Tires are a matching set of kellys with 80% tread remainiing with NO dry rot. Front tires NOT showing ANY unusual wear. The 6.6L engine is a original numbers matching block. The exterior is original paint, unrestored with some minor dents and rust(see pics). The vinyl top is in excellent original condition. Trunk area is exceptional with original mats and tire changing tools. Spare tire is present. All lighting in working order. All glass is crack free. In December 2011, a major tuneup was done: The Distributor, distributor cap, rotor, plug wires, spark plugs, ignition coil, ignition module, starter solenoid, fuel filter, and fuel pump were replaced with new.
