Vehicle Detail

After many years in storage I have decided it is time to part with a project that deserves to be completed and that I do not have time for. I am selling my 65 GTO convertible. The car is disassembled currently . It is a 90 plus percent complete car missing only some wiring harnesses that are very easy to find and of course things such as gas line and brake lines Teh gas tank is with the vehicle and in very solid condtion. Every part of the car has been stored inside for the past several years, until early this summer when other projects forced me to wrap up the body and frame in plastic and tarps to protect it and slide it out into the driveway on jack stands. The frame is a convertible box frame and is very solid and very clean. The body is also in very good condition with the only rust being a light petina in some areas from the past few months outside. The floors and trunk pan are completely intact and will require only some clean up and paint. As is the the Transmission tunnel. The fire wall cowel and windshiled frame are in excellent condition as well. I have Front fenders, wheel wells, doors, hood and trunk all in very good condtion, no rot at all on these or any of the other body areas, only as I stated some very minimal surface petina. The all other parts have been boxed, wrapped and stored on sheves in the basement. The interior when wrapped up was in near flawless condition, It is parchement in color. This includes front and rear seats, and all door panels. All the glass is wrapped and intact, I believe that all the chrome is with the car as well, If something is missing from the chrome it is not much. It is all in very good condition. The car is a 389 block with a tripower set up ( all 3 carbs are intact and will just typical rebuilds, also include is an extra 4 barrel manifold and Rpchester Quadrajet Carb. OIl pan to heads to valve covers everything is there with regard to the engine as well. The transmission is the factory 4 speed. The car has a power top the frame and all components are there, The top is intact but should be replaced and includes the hard window for the top. The Center console is with the car and fully intact and in very good condition, I have full set of gauges and good condition dash bezel, and heater controls as well. All the suspension parts, boxed control arms, A Arms, springs, rear end and drive shaft are with the car as well. Seat belts, window and door hardware, clutch assembly, steering wheel, several pontiac 2 style wheels that will need paint , and much much more. This car has pretty much every component I can think of, including very straight front and rear bumpers, tailight corner, grills and rear Pontiac Chrome trunk plate.. While all these parts are in good condition please understand that to have the car be the true show piece it can be much of the chrome should be replated, But it is all straight and on very good condition. There is far to much to list or to post pictures of, I am torn about selling this true american classic but I have a new project schedule to arrive next month and need to make room and do not want this car to sit outside this winter, It truly deserves to be finshed and enjoyed. This car is a dream for an avid ,muscle car restoration person. All there, minimal body work, only some fairly easy restore to parts left to do before the car can go back together, Most of the dirty work is done. Please contact any questions and for photos of specific parts. AND PLEASE, DO NOT ASK ME IF I WILL PART THIS OUT. I am well aware that parting this out would be much more profitable, that is not goal. I would like to have this car end up in place it will be reassembled and put back on the road. I do not have the time do that and hope to find someone ho does.
