Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1967 Camaro Convertible RS, that is a roller. I bought this car in the current condition, around 11 years ago and have never had time to finish the project. I planned on putting in a fuel injected motor and making it a pro touring car. I have some other hobbies now and am busy with work, it's taken up too much room for too long. I'm ready to sell it and move on. The car is very solid and a great candidate for a project car. It has a few small small places of rust under the passenger rear seat. Floor pans look good. Quarters are in good shape, may have been replaced. What you see with the car is what I have. I have priced this car to sell, the convertibles are hard to find, and this car is very solid for a starter project car. Most of the interior is there other than the rear side panels, all of the exterior body panels are there, except for the wiper cowl. All of the glass is there, the windshield does have a bad spot. The car will need a new top. The top on it now is in bad condition. All the framing for the top is there and looks to be in good shape. This car was a manual top car and is a real RS car. Please look at all the pictures below and email with any questions. On Sep-22-12 at 02:58:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Had a few questions that I will answer. The rockers appear to be in good shape to me. Rear frame rails also look solid. Trunk sheet metal was cut out before I got the car. I have the center replacement pan for trunk but that is all. I have a radiator with the car, have no idea if it is good. I have a few other peaces that I have pictured but that is all. This car is not perfect but is a really great start for a restoration project. The options from the trim tag are, convertible (white top), red custom buckets, center console, Bolero red body color, Powerglide trans, V-8, Rear antenna, and RallySport equipment. Before I got the camaro, it had been in storage for at least 15 years and I have had it in my shop for 11 years. The front cap was off so was put on just for transporting. If I had more time or room then this car would not leave my possession. My limits have been peaked. I hate to see it go but it is time. On Sep-25-12 at 20:03:49 PDT, seller added the following information: This vehical will not be availible for pick-up before Oct. 1. I apologize for any inconvenience. I have no one available to be at the location as I had planned and I will not be back until late sunday.
