5 Day Auction - Being Offered At No Reserve - Sold To The Highest BidderOver 80 Detail Photos A 1970 Chevrolet Nova Factory 307 Numbers Matching. Purchased new at Courtesy Chevrolet in San Jose, California. The original owner was a older lady that worked at Sears for many years. She mostly just drove it around as her "get around town car". Always garaged & well taken care of by one local mechanic. She owned it up until 2007 when it was sold it to her friend's son. The Nova was barley driven the last 5 years. Only has 101,198 original miles. Kept pretty much all original & bone stock, down to the original wheel covers. Rare factory painted two tone color combination - Astro Blue / Classic White with Blue standard cloth interior. Remains most of it original paint but the original owner had it some of the body painted over the years. Excellent example of a True California car. Still retaining it's original Calif. Blue plates with dealer license plates. Hasa vintage California 1970 License Plate Key Chain; Disabled American Veterans (Matches the Plates). It has spent it's entire life in San Jose, mostly garaged & covered. Solid floors - frame structure - trunk pan & around windows. Body is straight & solid overall. The interior was redone back to original adding deluxe door panels. The only thing that remains left is the original blue rubber mating & dash pad. Factory am radio is still in place as well as the steering wheel. The 307cid 2v is bone stock down to the air cleaner. Has power steering with drum brakes. The engine looks as it has never been out of the car nor under the hood has not been painted. The original TH350 Automatic is shifts just fine. Recently, I had a new radiator installed & tranny serviced. It's in good running shape, smooth overall. Brakes work fine - steering wheel doesn't pull. Small tapping noise, maybe a sticky lifter. Would make a great daily for someone in it's current condition. Doors open & shut with the double click. Overall, a fine example of a original Granny's Nova.
