Vehicle Detail
"Breaker breaker good buddy, this is Caddy Deluxe coming at you, you got a copy, I need a radio check". "10-4 good buddy you got the Monndoggy rollin' south on I-79 comin' back at you. You're comin' in wall to wall good buddy" !!!. "What's your 10-20" ? "Just sittin' here at Fleet Depot in Bridgeville testing this CB on a super fly, super fine 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Barritz Convertible with 6874 original miles on the clock good buddy" "Whoooo Whheeeee that has to be one bad ride, Caddy Deluxe" "Sure is Moondoggy, makes me want to dig out my leisure suit, my platform shoes and head on down to the disco good buddy" This Cadillac does have the rare factory CB radio option and it does work, just ask Moondoggy. And you never know, if you buy this fine Eldorado Convertible we just may throw in a pair of platform shoes as a bonus. This is truly a nice car. It is a 1984 with only 6874 original documented miles. The car is next to new. It runs and drives the same. The only flaw (if you want to call it that) is the natural discoloration due to aging of the urethane filler panels and extensions on the bumpers etc. This Eldorado has the original Gold Key Checklist, Owners manual, warranty book etc. included. New PA state safety and mechanical inspections have been done and new stickers are on the car. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer, more original Eldorado Barritz convertible than this gem. T Th This Cad This beautiful Body style will long live as one of Cadillac’s most exclusive offerings. With only a two year run (84-85) this Eldorado is one of only 3,300 produced in 1984. The entry price for the Biarritz Convertible in 84 was $31,286 whereas the entry price for a regular Eldo was $20,342. The Convertible pricing made the production limits realistic for the times Convertibles had the following: specific wide bright door and fender accent moldings; decklid accent striping; Biarritz script nameplate; wire wheel covers special Biarritz multi-button tufted seat design leather-wrapped steering wheel rim plus Cadillac's theft deterrent system The revived Biarritz convertible carried a hefty opening price tag: $31,286. That was nearly triple the cost of a '76 Eldorado ragtop when it was new. 1984 Eldorado Eldorado coupes started at a more modest $20,342. Eldorado's grille this year was vertically accented with a bright Cadillac script nameplate in the lower left corner. Rectangular headlamps sat above clear park/signal lamps. Appearance changes included the following: new car-colored bodyside moldings, new low-gloss black door trim bezels, instrument panel bezels, and air conditioning outlets. Base Eldorados had a new leather seat trim design. Other additions: an improved theft-prevention system, new dashboard bezels, suspension refinements, improved stereo performance, The coupes had a cabriolet vinyl top with glass rear window, brushed stainless steel roof cover, and opera lamps. Extended-range rear speakers became standard, except on the Delco/Bose sound system. 1984 Eldorado The standard 4.1-liter V-8 engine added a new exhaust system, while the Oldsmobile diesel was not offered in convertibles (or in California). The Touring Coupe was again available, with a distinctive "Eldorado Touring Coupe" cloisonne hood surface and sail panel ornaments. Also included: black-finished windshield window reveal moldings quarter window channel moldings and wipers body-colored headlamp and tail lamp bezels and wheel opening moldings large ribbed rocker panel moldings aluminum alloy wheels
