I am parting ways with my beloved Goldwing. It is a 1976 GL 1000. This is the only year that was sold in this beautiful yellow. The bike is not a show bike but is a really cool daily rider. The paint is brand new (2 weeks) with factory correct decals under a clear coat. The seat is brand a brand new Saddleman. IT's so new that it hasn't been broken in yet. Buy this bike and break the seat in to your own rear . The bike shows about 53,000mi but actually has about 70,000 because of a replaced speedometer. The timing belts were replaced at about 50,000 and the drive shaft was replaced at about 60,000. The rear tire and battery are new, the front tire has lots of life left on it. The bike is set up to be totally low maintenance. It has a Dynatronic electronic ignition, so you will never have to set points or time it again. It also has a carburator conversion getting rid of those finniky carbs. It has a single 2 barrel Weber carburator with a mechanical secondary. Because all 4 cylinders breath the exact same mixture, the bike gets better gas mileage, runs smoother, and never needs the carbs worked on or synched. It also has a Jardine exhaust to breathe better and sound better. It has Braided steel break lines. It has 5 way adjustable Mulhalland shocks.
