1998 Jaguar XJ8 Van Den Plus INTERIOR CONDITION: Clean, smells good, no rips or tears, very minor cracks at driver seat , all trim locks good, all leather are almond . Headliner estarting to deglue at the back seat. ENGINE CONDITION: All usual timing chains issues was addressed 7.000 miles ago PLUS wile we was there whater pump/other using original jaguar parts and labor, you will be amazed with the work record book that will be included on the sale. Yes you will hear a light taping noise that tends to go away with frequent driving, since day one. You know the lifters answer. TRANSMISSION CONDITION: THAT IS THE ISSUE. One hot summer day, erradical take off at stop light, TRANSMISSION FAILURE, TRACK CONTROL FAIL and WARNING LIGHT was displayd agressively on the dash. I continued on slow emergency mode driving four more lights and got to my house and that is where it seats.It will be AUCTIONED on a AS IS, WHERE IS BASIS.NO WARRANTIES. Nothing was done to it, except periodicaly start ups. Transmission is sealed. I can clear the codes removing the negative ground, takes off fine but as soon changes gears, transmission and track control codes light up. You fixed and enjoy this beatifull car like i did.
