Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my classic 1985 Pontiac Fiero Coupe. It has the 2.4L engine and it runs good, drives ok. I wouldn't take it on any road trips because the battery runs down and doesn't charge back up. The alternator is brand new and tested fine at Advance Auto, I had them test it 3 times to make sure. I've been putting a small battery maintainer on it when its parked to keep it charged, so far that works fine. **EDIT! Regarding the charging issue: I've been told that the alternator may TEST fine but not function under load, I.E. when the vehicle is moving. If that's the case here, you've got an easy fix! I just don't have the time and resources right now to repair it.**I bought it from my uncle who barely drove it, to restore it back to all its former mid-engine sports car glory. However, I have come to the realization that I just don't have the time and money to do it justice. I'd love to see it go to a good home where someone can complete it. Title is clean, clear and in hand, ready to be signed over!It has:104K milesNew alternatorNew alternator beltNew batteryUpgraded rear sway barEnergy Suspension bushingsAlpine CD/MP3 playerNew Spark PlugsNew Air FilterKnown problems: Car was repainted by previous owner, it has some chips and rough areas, looks good overall though!Windshield is cracked (doesn't obstruct vision)Tachometer doesn't function (Could just be a loose connection, I haven't had a chance to check)Interior needs a few plastic pieces and trunk lock missing (easy junkyard fixes, trunk still opens and closes tight)Sunroof leaks a little, needs a new clasp to pull it tight. ($10 at a junkyard)Door ajar light on (probably just a dirty door switch contact, easy fix)E-Brake isn't connectedBattery doesn't chargeNeeds new rear tires (fronts are good) That's it! Get yourself this classic sports car today! I am also selling it on my local craigslist, so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Good luck!
