This is a super nice 2000 Honda ST1100 with only 31,000 miles and in near mint condition. The bike looks great and runs great. The paint is nearly perfect and in the most popular Wine Berry color, with only minor boot scuffs on the side bags. The ST1100 is one of the best bikes that Honda ever built and has earned a reputation for being bullet proof and as solid as a rock. Many police departments throughout the world selected these bikes for their motorcycle fleet when they were in production. The ST1100 has a four cylinder 1100cc engine that creates plenty of power and torque to either cruise at interstate speed or tame the curves along the mountain roads. It's the perfect blend of power and mid-range weight to be fun to ride under all road conditions. Additional features include electric starter, disk brakes and shaft drive that delivers both smooth acceleration and stable stops. It also has an over 7 gallon fuel tank, one of the largest in the industry, with a range of almost 500 miles. The removable hard bags can hold a bunch of gear including a full face helmet on each side. We recently installed a new Avon ST Storm front tire to match the rear tire, which still has plenty of tread. On Sep-16-12 at 09:46:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Attention Bidders: I just received an email from a gentlemen who said that he has a similar bike and can't get 500 miles without stopping for gas. His experience is closer to 50 MPG. Personally, my bladder won't let me ride that far without stopping anyway, so I will defer to his testimonial. Please disregard my reference to 500 miles per tank. He says it would be closer to 350 miles per tank depending on conditions (still too far for me)!
