He started with a 1980 malibu front sub frame section and put a 94 S-10 rearend under it with about a 10" z in the rear frame to lower the truck. Then he installed a 1967 Chevy 283 which has had a complete oil change and filter and tune up and electronic igition installed. Motor starts right up and does not smoke. Turbo 350 tranny shifts good. Late model power brake booster installed and brakes do work. Mustand II floor shifter. Body retains all of the original patina, rust and all but he did fix the rocker step plates as shown in photos. Floor has been patched with license plates and it has an s-10 bench seat in it. Rail buggy gas tank sits on 100 year old Kentucky barn wood bed floor. She starts right up and will lot drive - actually he has driven it down the road and back. She rides solid. Needs your finishing touches, put your name on the door and you have a cool shop truck. Will need wiring for lights and gauges and exhaust and whatever other touches you want to add, also 2 pieces of flat glass for the windshield as they are cracked - leave em that way if you like. These old Stude's are getting harder to find. Cool looking rounded top with killer big fenders. Oh yeah, 7" Ralleys on the front with good tires and brand new special order 10" reverse smoothies on the back - back tires are just a little better than rollers.
