1987 Mercedes 300TD turbo diesel wagon. 161k original miles. Runs and drives beautifully. Good family car, great commuting car or long distance cruiser. Interior in excellent condition. Wood and upholstery very nice. No rips or tears or excessive wear. This is a unique model. The elegant modern 124 series wagon was only made one year with the diesel engine. Stereo. Sunroof. Power windows, seats and door locks. Cruise control. Radar detector – not sure if it works. Factory alarm system. Third row seating. Strong Mercedes 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine. These engines typically run 300k miles plus without a rebuild. Hydraulic lifters don’t need valve adjustment like the older Mercedes diesel engines. These engines also run much smoother and more quietly than older Mercedes diesels. Excellent fuel economy with the diesel engine. Super reliability. Drive it anywhere. New Bridgestone Blizzak all weather tires. Cold air conditioning. Oil service just completed. No rust. This car has been garaged since new. Previous owner took meticulous care of the car. However he was older and starting to lose his eyesight, so he damaged several body panels while trying to park the car. The driver’s front fender, tailgate and passenger quarter panel are dented. There are also parking lot dings and scratches on the other panels. Glow plug light and tach not working. Clean title in my name (transferable Maine registration). Please call with any questions.
