Vehicle Detail

1955 Ford Fairlane. This is a rebuild project that someone else started and never finished. I purchased the car recently for the motor that was installed in this vehicle and is not included in this auction. This vehicle does not have a motor or transmission. There is no front sheetmetal for the vehicle. There appears to be the factory rear end installed. The previous owner upgraded the frame. The frame appears to be freshly sandblasted and primered. Although it is starting to surface rust and it needs a quick knock down a re-prime. The owner also sectioned in a mid 70's camaro front end frame section and did a professional job with the frame section under the passenger floor and behind the transmission crossmember. The right frame rail end has pre-existing minor collision damage. Typically this section of the rail is cut off. See pics, can repair if you like. There was a Chevy motor in a Ford!! That alone is pretty cool if you would make a Rat Rod. The doors and trunk lid appear to be pretty good. The rest of the body is rusted and rusted through. The drivers doors is not attached to the vehicle although it is in it's place. The nut pulled through the hinge pillar when in transport (door was not closed and bounced pulling them through) Not rusted. The rear glass is tinted and appears to be good. Vehicle was originally a manual column shift vehicle. All linkage appears intact. Seats are non original. The front deep dish Oldsmobile wheels are included that are in excellent condition. Trunk is full of goodies. Drive shaft, lights, bumper brackets, misc hardware. You could really make a rat rod out of this pretty easy. Mileage shows 43k on the dash. Likely not accurate. Title is clear. Full payment expected within 7-10 days. I will accept PayPal ahead of time if the buyer pays the transaction fee's. I will work with shipping companies if buyer wants car shipped.
