Stock cam, idles smooth. 350 Automatic transmission with a shift kit installed and a hardened 2nd gear sprag unit, shifts firm. Desert Cooler radiator. Gas tank has been moved to inside the bed and enclosed. Solid uncut frame, solid I beam axle up front. Power 76 Nova disk brakes up front with new calipers. New brakes on the rear including wheel cylinders. 79 Camaro limited slip rear end 2.73 gears. New power steering box 74 Chevy pickup. New tie rod ends. Progressive cast aluminum wheels.The front fenders and doors are fiberglass built by US Body Source. They make racing car bodies. The doors are reinforced with aluminum at the hinge and latch points. Maintenance books and part numbers are included with the sale. The engine and transmission were built by local reliable shops. Everything was gone thru and repaired or replaced. The truck has become a daily summer driver. Now my interests have changed and that is why I'm selling the truck. Known problems: Speedometer inaccurate, it reads a little fast. some stone chips, paint popped on driver side step next to rear fender. The spot has been treated with POR-15, needs sanding, prime and paint, which is an easy fix. It was built to be reliable. It starts easy and runs excellent, very quick. After all, what fun is a vehicle that is in the shop all the time. Never been smoked in. Wood stakes can be removed. No known rust or rot. Does not burn oil at all. The truck has been always garaged, not driven in the winter. This is a good running, good looking truck that with a little work could be a show truck again. The truck has new brakes in the rear and new calipers up front. Yes, the brakes are vacuum assist power. The power steering box is fairly new is from a 1974 Chevy pickup. Note, the truck does not handle like a sports car. There is not much "road feel" in the steering wheel. All in all the truck is very easy to drive. A fingertip will steer this truck.
