This is a 1960 Rambler Super, originally bought by Bethel Bailey of Louisville KY at Hannah Motors in Louisville, KY on February 19, 1960. This car has not seen rain in over 30 years. It has had some body work done to take care of the beginning of surface rust - the original paint can be seen with primed areas where the body work has been taken care of. All it needs is a new spray. There are no rust holes or bubbles on the car. All trim is in place - with the exception of the letter "L" on the trunk. All windows work and the glass is in good condition. The front seat folds backward to form a nice bed layout - see pictures. The underside of the car is clean with no rust at all. The trunk is solid and clean. The original spare tire is in place with jack with a new spare rim. The front seat has a rip in the seat area and will need to be attended to. It has 72,000 original miles - less than 1,000 driven in the last 30 years. The car has been worked on over the years and driven around the neighborhood to keep her running correctly. She has had the following items taken care of: 1. New fan and belt. 2. New distributor, spark plugs and wires. 3. New fuel pump and a spare one in the trunk. 4. Rebuilt carburator and a spare carburator in the trunk. 5. New fuel filter. 6. Like new tires. 7. New wipers 8. New transmission fluid and oil changed recently. 9. Recent muffler installed - tail pipe is like new. 10. Good shocks. 11. All electrical work and are in good order. 12. Engine runs smoothly and the push button transmission works as it should. 13. Brakes are in good shape as is the steering. There are no mysteries here. This is a solid vintage vehicle that can be driven as-is or with a coat to paint.
