Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1970 Opel Gt in Strato Blue. This strong engine is a 1.9 Lt 4 cylinder with a webber electric choke carberator. The Gt is in very good running condition. On the Gt is 4 new tires, they are Kumho Power Star 758 Tires and they measure 185x70xR13. All electrical including lights is in good working order. Only the radio is not working. Surprisingly the clock works great! The transmission runs great and shifts very nice. The interior is in good condition except for a small puncture in the driver seat (shown in picture). The dash top has a few cracks in it and the dash pad was recently replaced with a new one. Wiring for the head lights were done by the previous owner and the bucket head lamps flip over as they should. I replaced the parking lamp lenses with new ones as they were faded. Also replaced is the battery with a new yellow top battery. The body and paint are in really good condition as seen the pictures the only problem is the belly pan area that has some surface rust on it (shown in picture). The Gt comes with the spare tire and the jack is all there in its pouch with the owners manuel and a few magazine ads that I'll throw in with the car. I also posess all the maintence records from the Gt dating back to the 1970s that goes with the car. Engine has recently developed a small oil leak that is coming from the head gasket that will need attention soon. On the wheels the center hubs and beauty rings and lugs were all replaced with new ones. This is a great little car to take to car shows and for touring on weekends. This car is being sold as is with no warrenty expressed or implied. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due within 24 hours of the auction close. The remaining balance is due within 7 days from the close of the auction. Acceptable payment methods are bank checks or personal check or cash. Car will not be released until check clears the bank.
