For auction is a 1955 Ford F-1 pickup for drive or show. The paint is five years old and in very good condition. Running boards are new steel Dennis Carpenter exact reproductions professionally painted. Interior has a custom trim on the seat and custom door trim panels. The speedometer bezel is chrome and it has ammeter and oil pressure gauges.Glass is good and doors and windows operate as new. Truck has new brakes, wheel cylinders and master cylinder.with Dot 5 silicone fluid. Truck has four new Firestone 710-15 tires from Coker installed last fall.100 miles on tires. Truck has chrome bumpers and original rams horn manifolds with new dual exhaust with deep-tone mufflers. Transmission is completely rebuilt with all new bearings, seals and new gears where needed. Overdrive works perfectly. Overdrive reduces engine RPM by one third. Truck travels at 65 miles per hour plus with no strain. Engine is a 312 cu. in..Y block from a 1956 Mercury. Engine is rebuilt with new camshaft and, cam bearings, mains and rod bearings, rings, oil pump and water pump.and clutch. Engine has 56 Thunderbird manifold, carburetor and air cleaner. Engine has later 1959 Y block distributir with a chrome cap.Truck has steel wheels with Ford full wheel covers.Truck has factory self-canceling turn signals. Truck includes owners manual and advertising booklet. Cab has Custom Cab trim on rain gutter and special Custom Cab stainless steel trim on the dash.There are louvered frame covers between the front bumper and the sheet metal. I have done tons of work to this truck and love driving it but I have to downsize and something has to go. There is one small quarter-size dent/scratch in left rear fender.
