This 1971 Cutlass was bought by a private buyer from the original owner 6 years ago. I bought the car with original mileage at 86,000 and is currently at 110874. This car is beautful with all original components of the entire engine. The outside of the car has been repainted the original color of pearl white and was done professionally for about $3000. Since then there has been one scratch on the roof of the car which is 1 inch long and about 2 mm wide. There is a small indent on the back fender on the right side that is not very noticiable but there. These are the original fenders and are in great shape other than that small indent.The front bench seat has been reupolhestered and had them professionally redone to match the back seats.Brand new headliner and brand new dark blue carpet. On the inside the plastic knob to pull the hood open broke off but is still functional. The instrument cluster shift indicator does not work when one shifts the car into gear. The front and back right blinker ocassionally works and the left one always works.The brights are used by hitting a button on the floor which works perfectly.The column ignition is non functional. Its now wired to a push button ignition where you have to flip a switch to first get power and then pushing the button to start the engine.There is a radio that came stock with the car and worked when i first bought it but does not anymore. There is a small hole in the back dashboard behind the rear seats. The left rear passenger window crank is missing. There is a small hole in the exhaust pipe which you can somewhat smell when the car is ideling. The heating core is bypassed and needs replacement , this was done to avoid coolant leaking under the passenger side floorboards.
