Up for sale is a really great parts car that is compatible with almost all 1981 - 1988 E28 5 series BMW's.This car runs and drives.It stays cool and gets 20-25 MPG.The main reason that I am calling this a parts car is I have discovered that where the rear control arms mount to the body of the car has rusted to the point that some serious welding will need to be done to fix it.This causes a banging in the rear when the clutch is let out quickly.The correct way to fix this would be to cut out the sections where these mount out of another e28 car and weld them back into this one.So doing this means the vehicle could be more than a parts car since the Engine and Transmission run great.All three Drive shafts have been replaced with New parts including the Main drive shaft which is of a new design with a serviceable U-joint.The Driver's seat has been replaced with a Black passenger side seat out of a parts car.The rest of the interior is Red.The car has E30 BMW 5-series 15" wheels and tires (The tires are needing replaced).What works on the car is: Heater,Front power windows,ABS,Horn,All Lights and bulbs,power 6way seats (except the lumbar support),wipers,turn signals,Tilt & Telescopic wheel,Sunroof,Speedometer,Tachometer,Fuel Gauge (reads 2 gallons high),Instant gas mileage gauge,3 of the Power door locks - also locks trunk & Fuel door (Driver's door power lock doesn't work).What doesn't work is the A/C,Rear Power windows,washer pump,odometer (this has been stuck for a while and comes out of another car so I am not exactly sure of the mileage),cruise control & the on board computer on the dash (This has nothing to do with the Engine computer which works fine).The car has some rust on the rockers,rear license mounting plate & the driver's front shock mount plus the rear control arm mounting areas as listed above.
