Vehicle Detail
I got a newer car so selling my reliable truck. I have had it since new (100 miles) and it has been a really good, reliable truck for me; it currently has 147k miles on it. It has the 4.0L V6, 5-speed manual transmission, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, alloy wheels, Sony CD/MP3 player with line-in, and an after-market security system (installed by Fry's). Good stuff: - Was switched to Mobil-1 5w30 synthetic at around 90,000 miles - Well maintained. Coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid, and manual transmission fluid changed quite regularly (clutch, coolant, and manual tranny flushed/refilled in the last 2 months) - Front brake pads replaced with Motorcraft pads at 124k miles (the original Motorcrafts lasted that long - I am a very careful driver) - Upper and lower ball joints replaced earlier this year (full alignment was done at this time as well), sway bar links replaced recently - Newish Michelin tires on all 4 wheels - Newish power steering pump (done by Dave's Automotive in Austin, TX) - AC recharged, leaky valve replaced by Luu's (Austin, TX) last year - New driver's side power lock (replaced this year with Ford OEM part), and rear door power lock (replaced 2 years ago by Fry's) Known issues: - Hail damaged (was bought new in a "hail sale" and then got hit again in 2008) - Paint chips/damage on hood (touch-up paint did not go on well either) - Paint peeling on roof rails - When it is hot, the passenger side power lock can respond slowly (it is factory original) - Sometimes difficult to shift into 1st gear from a complete stop. Most likely the slave cylinder needs replacement (truck is still on its original clutch - told you I was a careful driver :-) On Sep-06-12 at 21:47:53 PDT, seller added the following information: More details: - Regarding the Michelin tires: they have less than 7000 miles on them and are just about the best tires available for this truck on the market - If you run the title check, you might see a lien against the vehicle. To the best of my knowledge, there are no liens on this vehicle. I have a certified copy of the title from the Texas DMV from 05/21/2009 along with a notarized letter from the lender dated 05/18/2009 indicating that they have released the lien on this vehicle.
