I brought this car from England several years ago and now have to let it go. This vehicle is used and needs some TLC. Has many upgraded parts including 1275cc engine, Disc brakes, etc. Currently this car is in St Louis, Mo. To be honest I didn't expect such high interest so i did not put much effort into advertising properly. Anyway this is a 1971 Mini, not 1973. I brought it from England in 2001. I drove it all over Southern California for a few years, and replaced the 850cc engine with a 1275, and installed the disc brakes conversion. It has been sitting in a garage since about 2004. Although I have hardly seen it since then, my family starts it and occasionally drives it around town. It runs, but I am sure it needs a lot of work. Minor rust, needs a paint job and the interior will need to be updated. I did some crude rewiring of everything electrical including, blinkers, horn, radio, ignition, etc to make the dash look like a cockpit. It can easily be undone. There are no safety or emission requirements for this car and it is totally legal. It's in St Louis, Mo. It will take lots of cosmetic work to get it back to its original state, but otherwise it's a great deal for a classic original.
