Vehicle Detail

DescriptionAt The Sell It Now Store, we sell a number of vintage cars and trucks. This is a project that is not for the faint of heart. You are looking at a PROJECT 1934 Plymouth Deluxe 2 door sedan. This car was a drag car in the 50s as you can see by the vintage photos of the car we included. Note that a frame and other parts are not included, just what is shown. It has sat since the 60s and is screaming to be restored and back on the road. The cosmetic condition of the shell is good for the age but it is showing wear and tear from years and years of storage. The car is super solid and you can see it has period correct flares. This came from a local owner who has known of the car since the 70s. Read on and scroll down for a large number of photos. Please review them carefully before placing a bid. If you cannot view all the photos or would like to see larger photos, please click here. Mechanically, this car needs everything and a large amount of parts. We are including the shell, a rear end, drive shaft, steering column, double dip front axle, etc mostly from a 1937 Dodge or Plymouth. Also included is a 1949 218 6 cylinder engine (ran when removed and not stuck) and 3 speed transmission. Rims are early 1940s Dodge 16x4.5, along with an Offenhauser manifold, and old ball to ball and a Carter W1 carb. Current prices in the United States range from $2,500 for basket cases to upwards of $50,000 for nicely restored custom examples. Consider the value of these down the road – better than the stock market. This would make a great addition for the Mopar, Rat Rod or racing enthusiast that has everything, Best of all, there is NO reserve. We will let the market determine the value. Just to be clear - this car should be considered a COMPLETE PROJECT that is incomplete as shown. We also recommend and encourage inspections which are at the cost of the buyer. If you have questions about the car or shipping during the auction, we can be reached at 262-798-0600 and ask for Mike or Nichole. Best of luck in the auction. Would you like us to sell your items?
