This is a sweet driving vintage roadster, lovingly restored by Pat Mahoney in Idaho. Carefully polished and garaged, it has been driven 1523 miles since I got it in 2007. I have shown it in local car shows, and it always is a favorite eliciting all sorts of great conversations: and the most waves in the "parade" part.... I have replaced the brakes, and third gear, so it is in top driveable condition. I even took it to the road track here with my son in law. I was able to stay with him in his 911, which ticked him off no end. There are two tiny chips in the windshield, and occasionally the rear tail light balks, but those are the only known issues. I think that the chips can be made to disappear with an epoxy process, but haven't attempted it yet. I have Pat's touch up paint, and two volumes of the "Datsun Roadster Book" (owners and shop manual), as well as a tech reference for the SU carbs. There's even an old rear speaker box, but it's not hooked up. Spare, jack, and the top is in excellent condition. This is the same model car I had in college in 1972: the very last picture shows that car, just for a grin, with my bride of 38 years..... It's a fun and proud little car, and I wish that I could keep it.On Aug-23-12 at 07:26:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Mileage is approximate, as the odometer isn't keeping score. The trip odometer does work, though, and that's how I know how much I've driven.
