1951 Ford F1 1/2 ton pick up. I bought this truck from a estate in a package of four other vehicles. This is not my type of vehicle that I collect so I am offering it for sale at a very low reserve. The truck is a great twenty footer but does have some issues. I took pictures and did a hd video to show that it does drive straight and stops well. It is a amature paint job. When you get close, you can see the runs in the paint, and some overspray. There was filler used here and there in the truck and I tried to picture any body issues I found. The driver side door needs adjustment but it does shut. The driver window fell off the regulator and is in the door. The windows do crank up and down. There are cracks in the glass as the pictures will show. The interior shows well. The hood latch is missing. The rear bumper is not factory ford. The running boards had some rust. Tires look great with the wheels. they are in good condition. Underneeth the truck looks good. The engine is a small block chevy with a chevy automatic transmission. both seem to run and shift well. The radiator should be replaced as it is too small for the engine size in the truck. I had it delivered with my other four vehicles I purchased from the estate, they loaded it off the transport and I drove it about a mile and a half up and down my road to video it and take pics. I put a battery in it and ran it on a aux gas tank. I checked the fluids ( only the coolant was lower and the oil looked full and clean) I started the truck up and it fired right over for the video. The mile or so is the most I have driven and looked into this truck. The buyer should plan on tweaking this truck as the truck was sitting for around four years in a heated garage before I got it. The buyer of this truck is going to get it at a price that is well below the market value so you will have the room to bring it back to all original or continue the project into more of a hot rod/rat rod. It comes with a clean and clear Iowa title with numbers matching. I do not want to overcall this truck or undercall this truck, Let the pictures, video, and description tell the story.
