We (my husband, son and I) have purchased a new vehicle and are picking it up on Monday and we have reserved the option of selling our 2008 GMC Acadia in lieu of trading it in. We have enjoyed this car very much and it has never let us down. It is great to take the family anywhere and with the all wheel drive it is extremely safe. We live on a hill in Vermont and the roads are not always free of snow and ice which is when the all wheel drive comes in handy. Then in the spring when our young son has a soccer game or birthday party it is great to be able to take 6 of his friends with us. At the price of gas today, this means less cars on the road and less cars makes for a cleaner enviroment. It also has a rear parking assist which will beep at you if you get to close! Or if our son should forget and leave his bike parked behind the car when we are backing out, it will also let us know something is there! Today the car has 79,735 miles and we are leaving for vacation in Maine and will not be back until this weekend, so it will probably have another 300 or so miles when we get back.
