Vw Super Beetle 1303 Blue, 1973, this car was restored in 1999 and used for 1 year and then put in a garage when the young lady went to Uni, it sat there for 13 years until two weeks ago when i pulled it out. The brakes were stuck, (hard hit with a hammer sorted that out) the engine turned but didnt run, i put new points in and some fuel down the carb, and 3 seconds later, yes three, it fired up, it runs very well, the gear box and clutch are fine, it drives and stops fine. It has had new front floor pans but will need a bit of welding to the rear and some to the front, but not much, it would also be a good idea to buy two rear wings at £55 each rather than filling with filler, just needs some tlc. I paid £900 for it and then paid £300 to get it collected so im in for £1200, unfortunately i have lost my parking garage and have to move fast, so any sensible offer would be considered. i am starting the auction with no reserve but will try and sell asap, so may cancel if i sell. go on its worth it. view any time if you wish 07787446969, good luck.
