I am putting up for auction a 1962 Studebaker Hawk GT, This is the car made famous by Frank Zappa on his "Billy the Mountain" album. For those of you born after 1985, albums are like big CD's and they have music on them. I am selling this for my brother, who lives in Northern California. Just like real estate, God isn't gonna make any more Studebakers....and here is a chance for someone to pick up a complete 62 Hawk for a really reasonable price. Everyhing is there, but it hasn't run in about 20 years. I'd say it was a great barn find, but my brother doesn't have a barn. Setting there in the forest of the high Sierras, covered by pine needles. This is an iconic car, and deserves a better life. An original 289 V-8 sits in it waiting to come to life again. Look around on Ebay and see restored 1962 Studebaker Hawks selling for thousands. By the way....how many of you knew that GT sttod for Gran Turismo??? Thanks for looking and bid high and often !!!
