Hello and welcome. I am selling my 86 4runner that some of you might have seen on here not to long ago. I basically bought it from the last seller and had it shipped to my where I live (MD) but do to circumstances beyond my control, I am not able to drive it. I have been given permission from the previous owner to copy the description he had on here before with some additional info from myself. With that out of the way, here's what you'll be getting. 98K ORIGINAL MILES 22RE 4 CYLINDER Installed 500 miles ago: 4 INCH ROUGH COUNTRY LIFT 33 x 12.5 x 15 ' s NEW FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS, PADS, AND LINES NEW REAR BRAKE SHOES NEW FUEL PUMP NEW CATALYTIC CONVERTER Truck is extremely clean for a 1986. Spent the majority of it's life in salt free PA. Body is straight and without major rot or rust. Two small rust areas are in photos. #1 is bubbling starting on left front wheel well arch approx 3 inches in length. #2 is on the right wheel arch approx 4 inches in length. Both areas are surface and still able to be repaired. Paint is in good shape. Cleans up very nicely with a coat of wax. Truck runs great at all speeds. Acceleration, cruise, and stopping is all great. Transmission and transfer cases shift smooth and quietly. Basically, this truck runs and drives like a 22RE with 98K on it!! Rhino lined flooring front to back with drain plugs for water evacuation. Truck currently does not have a radio installed. Chrome trim ring around front windshield has been removed. This ring is a cosmetic beauty ring only, and has no effect on windshield structure or seal. Seats are in good condition and clean. Drivers seat has the beginning of a typical wear spot on the left side lower cushion. The worn material are is approx 2 inches long, and difficult to see in the photos. It is not yet worn through. This is a very clean 4runner that looks and drives great and continues to be extremely reliable with only 98K on the odometer. Following the lift, tires, and brake work, the truck was aligned and is able to maintain a straight track without holding the wheel. As far as due maintenance is concerned, the oil was changed 500 miles ago as was the coolant. Rear differential was serviced 400 miles ago. Power steering fluid is clean and full. Brake fluid is fresh and full, although the brakes could use a quick bleed again. Sometimes, since my brake job, the brake pedal requires a quick tap to have a fully responsive hard pedal. I have an air bubble left in the system somewhere. Offers are more than welcomed. I accept cash and checks for payment but no tire kickers. You either are interested or not. Do not waste my time. When I listed this last time, some of you were wondering why I am selling the 4runner and if there are any problems with it? No there is nothing mechanically wrong. The only thing is that the battery is going to need to be replaced soon, that is all. Everything that was done to it is in the listing. The 4x4 works great. I was involved in a car accident (I was not driving) which resulted in me having pins in my hip and I am not able to drive this because it's a manual. Truck is sold as is. The ONLY reason for me selling this is to pay my doctor bills otherwise I would keep it. If I was not injured I would not hesitate to jump in this truck as it sits and drive it a long distance. It is solid and reliable and will certainly handle the drive. I love this truck and would be happy to talk about it. I encourage you to come and see the vehicle for yourself if you are able to.
