This is a 1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet Collector's Edition. Last year of the Volkswagen Cabriolet. The Collector's Edition came with several option that weren't stock on the basic model like heated front seats, alloy wheels, leather steering wheel trim, air conditioning, and cruise control. The car is Bordeaux Red Pearl in color with an automatic transmission. Runs and drives just fine.This car is great on gas as it gets 22 mpg city and 29 mpg on the highway, averaging 25 mpg. Oil and oil filter have been changed on a regular basis while its been owned. The A/C works but it must have a leak somewhere, gas last like 2 month after recharging. The tires are a year old looking like new. The car battery has been swapped out for a new one last week. There are some minor chips and dings that are usual for a 19 year old vehicle such as this, the clear is coming off the hood do to the lovely sun here in Florida, the hall body has stock paint. This vehicle only has a very low 154k miles which is great considering its age. Last year I replaced the alternator, timing belt, timing belt adjuster, all belts, radiator, water hoses, ignition cover and spark plugs. The wheels have been polished and one of them has a bad curb rash and the car is missing one of the wheel caps. No top leaks, the top and the headliner was replace like 3 years ago and still in great shape zero cracks. The interior was originally tan leather but was re upholster in tan cloth. The radio doesn't work. A convertible such as this is a great car for a warm summer day. I reserve the right to remove this listing.
