We are putting up for auction a 1971 Dodge Dart. This automobile was purchased in 1971 and has been in the same ownership her entire life. She was named "Drucilla" by her owner and kept in excellent condition. For the last twenty years the car has been driven very little, and kept in a two car house garage, covered. She has been in a smoke free environment. The owner would take her out every once in a while, start her up, run her around the block and then put her back in the garage for safe keeping. The car has the original paint on it as well as the original interior. The interior is in very good condition except for the driver's seat. The back of the driver's seat is torn and they had tape put over the tear. The arm rest on the driver's side is taped up. Please look at the pictures. The 225 Inline Slant 6 motor is original. The car has an automatic transmission and power steering. There is one spot on the back rear window that shows a little rust area. We have taken the car out and the mechanic that has serviced her all these years got her started and check everything out. The battery was replaced, the tires aired up and the two front tires replaced so the car could be driven safely. I was told by the mechanic that the A/C and gas gauge were not working. Other than that, the car was driven and operating fine. The odometer has 62,656 miles on it.
