This car has hundreds of hours, and thousands of dollars invested. Here is the car came originally according to the door tag that is still in place: Body: 65A 2 Door Hardtop, Standard Interior Color: I Lime Gold Metallic Trim: 2G Lt. Ivy Gold Crinkle Vinyl and Ivy Gold Crinkle Vinyl, Standard Interior Date: 18A January 18, 1967 D.S.O: 71 Los Angeles Axle: 0 2.79:1, Conventional Trans: W C4 Automatic The Car is in excellent condition. It was originally a West Coast car. About 3 years ago the car started a full restoration. I have run out of money and time to finish this car, even though there is so little to do to finish. Here is a great chance for someone to buy a historic Mustang for an excellent deal, put a few dollars and time into the car and have 13-15,000 dollar car. If there was any metal that needed to be replaced, than it was, so the car is really quiet rust free. New front fenders. new rear Quarters, new gas tank and all new fuel lines, new or perfect front rails, and new rear left rail. Right rear rail is not new, and in fair condition. New front Torque boxes, very good condition rear torque boxes. All the floor pan have been replaced where and are in excellent condition. new battery box and apron. new cowl. Doors are original and are in excellent condition. as well as all the chrome trim. All Glass is excellent with new seals on the front and back. Lights work. Blinks in the hood. The original 289 hasjust been rebuilt, It was completely taken apart, the block was boiled and the sleaves polished, there was no need to bore it. New crank, cam, rings, pistons, rods, values, springs, and all the seals....the works.. a roller rockers were added for better performance. New spark wires, New exhaust. New front and rear drum brakes . All the inner workings of the brakes were replaced except for the paking brake. New brake lines where needed. I have bled all the brakes ( the right front brake did not bleed so that line might need to be replaced). The brake switch is new and so is the Mater brake Cylinder. The brake pedal has good pressure. The engine PURRRRRRs. All the values are set correctly, the timing and carb are right on. This was a quality rebuild. The Engine block and head seem to be the original one the intake manifold is from a later model. I had the transmission checked out at a trans shop, and they said it was in good working condition. and seem original New shocks all the way around. Perfect looking underside. The car still needs to be taken out on a long road trip shake down and a couple of fine tuning in the engine bay need to be adressed like all the vacum lines and washer fuild lines. All the Transcooler lines are new. Interior is an original black interior. There is one seam tear where I put my knee to finish ther new headliner. New carpet. and new door cards and new chrome scuff plates.. and dash pad. The interior is in great cond, and some of it still needs to be tightened down. The paint is new, the man I bought the car from last year had his body shop relative do the paint work, which is good, but not perfect, maybe a 7 out of 10. Great looking silver with black rally stripes. he had the doors shaved to put on door "poopers". which still need to be done. I have the orginal door handle incase the new owner wants to put original handle back on. I can see inside the doors where the holes go.. The sunvisor and mirrors are included but need to be put on. Dash board is great. Radio plasic front has a crack in it. Original door tag still on the car, as well as the VIN number on the drivers side apron, all matching The other things that need to be done are install the original A/C and heater box ( which is pictured). I have tried to remember everything. good and to be done. Please email me any questions. Come see the car anytime before the end of the sale. The car is selling at NO Reserve so the car will sell.. There is a buy now price of 9500 if you buy it early The car is well worth that plus more. I need $500 within 2 days of the end and paid infull within 7days. I am very easy to deal with. Call me any time. I reserve the right to end the sale early becuase the car is for sale locally at the same price. Shipping is up to the buyer. I will sell international, but payment is needed within a week. Sold as-is Thank you so much for bidding I feel that 100% of the car is there. and really almost ready to drive daily. On Aug-11-12 at 15:14:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to answer some of the questions I have been getting: I have alomost all the original badges like the running horse and 289.
