Vehicle Detail

For your consideration.Restored 1970 MGB roadster. Stunning in Tartan Red with black interior. I acquired this great little sports car from a local Oregon estate a few months ago. My intention was for my daughter to drive it. She has since moved to L.A. and does not need a car, (because she is riding a bike) so I am putting it on the market. It was restored for the wife of a local DMD a few years ago. It has been used very little over the years. It remains in remarkable condition. The previous owners did service the car frequently even though it has been used only for the ocasional summer day drive. The mechanical restoration included rebuilt engine, carbs, new electronic distributor, new clutch, rebuilt brakes and rebuilt front suspension. Transmission is in excellent condition. Engine is tight, nicely detailed and has excellent oil pressure. The engine fires immediately every time and doesn't smoke. It has new tires, on original restored wheels, a new single 12 volt battery and recent work to the hydraulic systems. All instrument, switches, lighting and electrical items work The cosmetic restoration included a quality professional paint job and a nicely detailed engine compartment. I can find no rust, all the usual rust prone places look excellent. ie: rockers, sills, wheel arches, dog legs, trunk area and floors. There are a few chips and minor flaws in the paint. There is some shrinkage in the paint on the hood (that will not show in the photos). This will probably color sand out quite easily. Over all the paint looks very very good and shiny. The seats, door panels, carpet and dash appear to be originals and are in very good condition. The top is new. The trunk is carpet lined and there is shinny new red paint under the carpet. Glass and chrome appear original and are also in good condition. Please ask any questions you may have before you bid. Do not bid unless you intend to own the vehicle if you are the successful bidder, a bid is a contract to own the vehicle. Do not bid if you have recent negative feedback or fewer that 3 positive feedbacks. To summarizeMechanical and cosmetic restoration still in very good condition. Very sharp looker and very good driving machine. Does not appear to need anything at the present time other than a new owner.
