Vehicle Detail

You are looking 59 MG 1500 Roadster that was just pulled out this week. The Gentelman that was restoring the car became ill and passed away awhile back and the widow has now decided to sell the car. As far as we know ALL of the parts are there with the car along with the new parts such as the box of new pistons and rod bearings BUT there is no guarantee whatsoever. You are buying the car and parts as is! I took as many pictures of all of the parts that I could and you will have to look closely and see what there is. In the pictures you will see the engine block , crank , head , oil pan , fan , dual carburetors, The extra convertible top and side windows (curtains) , wire rally wheels and Knock Off caps and many other things as well. I took pics of all of the numbers that I thought would help in letting you know what the car is. I do not know very much about this car other than people are still restoring them and even making custom projects out of them. I remember in the seventies that guy's would take a car like this MGA or MGB and even the MG GTor Austin Healey's and Triumph's and put small block chevy engine's with a V8 kit and would have one wild ride simular to a shelby cobra and I can see why, this car has a frame that could withstand the power of a V8 with no problem. The body is in good condition for the age and if you will look close in the pictures you will see a new rocker repair panel that is just hanging there in order to show you where it goes. the bottoms of the fenders and rocker's welded in and some body straightening and you are good to go. Yes there is some floor work that will need to be done as well. I see listings of completed restorations and they are a very sharp and still hold a good value. So this car can go either way classic or custom? It all depends on the wallet I guess! People are still buying these cars. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will help you with any thing that I can.
