This is a 58 Buick 4 door hardtop that was rescued from a field in central TN. The car was purchased in the early 60's and was with the same family up untill a couple of weeks ago. In the late 60's it was parked for unknown reasons and put in a barn. It was removed a few years ago when the barn looked like it was going to fall in. I am part owner of a automotive restoration shop here in Cookeville, TN and have gone over this car. It is 100% complete and dent free. It rolls easy and 3 of the old tires held air. The car does need to be restored but is 90% rust free. The body has surface rust only. There is a spot on the hood that is rusted through and is shown. The left rear bumper is rusted through. The bottoms of the doors are solid. The floors appear to be solid and the frame has just surface rust. Three parts are broke, and one is the antenna, one is the chrome trim on the right front wheel lip. One might be the headlight trim around the left side. It is inside the car but maybe ok. There would be no hard parts to find and this car is an engineers work of art. Once restored this would take on an art form. The 364 CI V-8 is still green and I would not attempt to start it after its long rest. The odometer shows 78,000 miles. The windows are all electric. There is a windshield in the back seat that was there when I got it. I don't know what it fits but windsheild in Buick is good. The paint was white body with black roof when new. The car was sold new in Nashville,TN. This car is for sale locally also and I could stop auction if sold here. I am doing a no reserve auction so be quick and don't procrastinate.
