I have to part with my GTO which I owned for 23 years. It was manufactured in Calif and she remained there until I moved to Spokane, Wa in 2003. I finished the restoration 9 years ago and it has always been garaged. I never drive this car in the winter. I've only put on 5,200 miles since I owned her. This is a genuine GTO, painted in '66 Pontiac Montero Red. The black interior has new seat upholstery, foam rubber, headliner, carpets and new walnut wood in the dash. The original 389" engine had seized bearing when I bought it. So I decided to build up a 400" engine. It has a 272 degree Crane Cam and 10.25 to 1 ratio #13 heads. I'm running a Quadajet and 2 1/4 high performance mufflers. The original 389" engine is in a box and is included in the sale. I installed a 4-speed Muncie instead of the orginal 2-speed automatic transmission. This is an excellent looking GTO and a very good driver. It doesn't overheat, even on 95 degree days of city driving. It has a high torque starter and always starts even when hot. The AM radio doesn't work and the A/C is not installed. I have the orginal A/C equipment in a box. Just installed a new wiper motor. It could use some new tires, but there is plenty of rubber to burn.
